In a recent sample analysis of over fifteen hundred websites Hubspot.com revealed some interesting numbers worth mentioning.
We have always said that blogging is good for your business, but now the numbers back this fact.
How good is blogging for your website? Well according to this analysis out of 795 sites that maintain a blog compared to 736 that didn’t the first group received 55% more traffic.
Traffic may not be the best indicator because traffic is only a small component of any Internet Marketing effort, but the second graph shows that sites that maintain a blog got 97% more inbound links, this is pretty significant since Google gives more weight and better ranks to sites that have more links from external sources, they see it as content that is worth sharing.
Finally sites that blog have 434% more indexed pages, which in return means more chances to be found in this internet roulette.

Blogging doesn’t have to be complicated, as long as you show that you are authentic, you have something worth sharing and you want to participate in the conversation.
