It seems to me that there is a group that got a clue on this internet marketing thing and another group that it is so busy trying to stay afloat that doesn’t have the time to actually get it.

Also, I think there is plenty of noise from people trying to take advantage of the situation to make a buck regardless of what happens later.

There is no secret that the economy, especially here in Florida is extremely slow with one of the highest unemployment rate, but I think there are signs that it may be starting to move in the right direction.

The local search market is growing, in particular the mobile search market, we have talked about Google Places, Did you know that 80% of searchers, research online before purchasing in a 10-20 miles radius? (*). Is your business going to show on those searches?

There are a lot of solutions out there for Web Sites for Small Businesses, must of the time you get what you pay for, I evaluated some of those solutions and the majority have some designs flaws, for $9.99 you get something that resembles a website and you can actually update it fairly ease but that’s it, if you want, “they can help you with Search Engine Optimization” (SEO) for a fee, if you want to add a blog, which is a must if you want to generate fresh content is another fee, and so on.
